Hayward Wolfpack FC were founded as Hayward United Soccer Club in 2017 to provide high-level soccer opportunities for players in the Hayward, WI area. The Wolfpack played in the Duluth Amateur Soccer League in 2018, and were a founding member of the new Wisconsin Primary Amateur Soccer League in 2019. The club became Hayward Wolfpack Football Club after rebranding in 2021. What was originally just a team has blossomed into a club dedicated to providing adult soccer programs to the Northwestern Wisconsin area. 

Club Timeline

October 2017 - Hayward United Soccer Club is formed

March 2018 - Hayward United Soccer Club joins the DASL

May 2018 - Danny Murphy scores the very first Wolfpack goal in a 6-3 win against Washburn

May 2018 - Hayward United Soccer Club plays its first DASL match against Team Evil

March 2019 - Hayward United Soccer Club becomes founding member of the WPASL

June 2019  - Hayward United Soccer Club plays its first WPASL match against Eau Claire Heat

June 2019  - Hayward United Soccer Club beats Barron Soccer Team 6-1 to win their first WPASL game

April 2020Taking part in a popular trend on Twitter during the COVID-19 pandemic, a virtual game of Connect Four with rivals Bateaux FC leads to the formation of the Connect Four Derby

April 2021 - Hayward United Soccer Club rebrands as Hayward Wolfpack Football Club

August 2021 - Hayward Wolfpack Football Club finishes 1st in the WPASL Regular Season, losing to Bateaux FC 3-2( AET) in the WPASL Championship Game at Northland College

December 2021 - Hayward Wolfpack Football Club brings already established DASL club Superior Internationals FC into the organization to provide competitive non-travel opportunities for adult soccer players

February 2022 - Hayward Wolfpack Football Club establishes the HRSL, providing recreational opportunities to adult soccer players. This becomes an organized pick-up soccer program.
